Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus, I recognize I am a sinner because Your word says that all have sinned; so that includes me! I REPENT, which means to change my mind and direction to line up with Yours.
Your Word says that "...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You now, Jesus. I ask You to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. According to Romans 10:9-10, "...if anyone shall confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead, they shall be saved." I do that now.
I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe that God raised Him from the dead. I am now reborn! I am a Christian! A child of Almighty God! I AM SAVED!
The Prayer of Forgiveness
Father, I let go of all bitterness, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form. I give no place to the devil. I ask Your forgiveness. By faith, I recieve it, having assurance that I am cleansed from all unrighteousness through Jesus Christ. I forgive and release all who have wronged and hurt me. I place them in Your hands. In Jesus' name. (Mark 11:25, 26).
The Infilling of the Holy Spirit
Father, You said in Your word that if I "then being a natural person know how to give good gifts to my children, how much more shall my Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him" (Luke 11:13). I'm asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11). Rise up within me as I praise You. I fully expect to speak in other tongues as You give me the utterance (or words) (Acts 2:4).
Now begin to praise God for filling you with the Holy Spirit. Speak those words and syllables you recieve, not in your own language, but in the language given to you by the Holy Spirit. You have to use your own voice, God will not force you to speak.
Now you are a Spirit-filled believer. Continue
with the blessing God has given you and pray in tongues each day. You'll
never be the same!
